The Weight of

"A button is not a rectangle with text; it is a state machine that communicates affordance, process, and outcome."

When we speak of the button, we are not merely discussing an HTML element. We are discussing the rejection of the passive interface. The Quantum system treats every click as a soft collision—a momentary meeting of intent and response that feels as natural as a ripple in a mountain lake.

"Geometry is the language of God, but motion is the breath of the living."

Technical manuals will tell you about click handlers and state management. They miss the soul of the work. To build with Quantum is to acknowledge that the cursor is an extension of the nervous system. When a button pulls toward the pointer, it is an act of digital empathy.

Our pursuit of the 'Kinetic' is a pursuit of permanence. In an industry obsessed with the next trend, we look back to the craft of the printmaker and the architect. We seek to build buttons that do not merely 'perform' but 'behave' with a dignity befitting the high-end experiences of tomorrow.

01

The Magnetic Field

As the cursor approaches, the button physically translates toward it—creating a playful tension before the click. A dampening factor of 0.3 ensures it doesn't follow 1:1.

02

The Liquid Ripple

A Canvas-based ripple that starts at the exact click coordinates and expands outward using a lighter shade derived from the button's HSL palette.

03

State Morphing

The submit button morphs into a circle, spins a loading ring, then morphs back revealing a checkmark—all without causing layout shift.

04

Squircle & Destructive

Organic superellipse shapes replace standard border-radius. Destructive actions require a confirm step—click once for "Are you sure?", click again to execute.
